The modular or sandwich valve is stacked along with directional valves in CETOP 3 interfaces to provide a poppet valve system. The valve can be used to dump excess flow to tank when the system is not in use without the use of a ‘G’ –spool valve.

Normally Closed, the valve allows no flow from P to T. The pilot orifice is closed and the main poppet seated due to pressure differential. When energised, full flow is permitted due to the pressure difference through the pilot orifice which holds the main poppet open.

Sandwich construction offers a compact solution. Hardened working parts ensure a long, reliable and trouble-free life. The cartridge construction gives flexibility in servicing.
